Legislative and Public Policy

Our Legislative and Public Policy committee is responsible for providing the board with up to date information on legislative, policy, and advocacy issues that impact the counseling profession in New York state, as well as communicating advocacy issues supported by ACA.  Find the contact information for our Legislative and Policy chair under "Leadership."

Graduate Students

Our Graduate Student committee is committed to involving masters and doctoral students from across the state in ACA-NY events and activities, while also providing leadership opportunities for students. This committee receives feedback from graduate students and helps to ensure that their voice is heard among our ACA-NY events and activities.  Find the contact information for our Graduate Student chair under "Leadership." Graduate students can get connected to other ACA-NY Graduate Students by joining our "Street Team." Click here to learn more about the Street Team and how you can get involved.
